Congenital Multiple Dislocation of Joints

Abstract
|
|
|
Congenital mnitipk dislocation of joints is relatively rare deformity. Since its first description by`´ Chatelaia in 1822.. -many authors have been proposed.
In this case. a two week postnatal female had marked hyperextension of the Rt. knee with font motion limitation combined with various other anomalies as congenital dislocation of Rt. hip joint. talipee calcaaeovalgns deformity, sad large sized omphalocele.
Immediate maaipnlative redaction sad immobilization was done for two~iaonths by progressively increasing the flesioa of the knee at biweekly interval.
An abduction type brace was applied to the dislocated hip.
Results were idatively good according ~o, x-ray finding and functionl improvement as achieved.
